The Children's Ministry at Central is much more than just "Child Care". A definition of Children's Ministry is simply "serving our children to help them grow into a relationship with God and others." We have classes for all ages from birth to 6th grade. Older than 6th grade, please visit our Youth Ministry page.
We offer fun programs that are also spiritual in nature. The children are the future of the church, with this we encourage the involvement of children in the church. For example Mother's and Father's day we have our children assist in passing out a gift to the Moms and Dads. During the Christmas time the kids typically will sing Christmas Carols on Sunday Mornings. This is just a few examples.
All of our Children's Ministry teachers are hard working and devoted to the well being of all our kids, whether it be a member's child or a visitors child, they are all special and get the same attention.
Youth Ministry is all about helping and encouraging young people in their personal and spiritual growth. We want to show young people how to apply Christianity to all parts of their lives. Typically the youth group is made up of 7th-12th graders. We work as a team and help each teen grow as a strong Christian individual.
We want to encourage the youth of Central to use their gifts to serve the church, their family, and their community. We will make every effort to develop their gifts and talents.
We offer a perfect mixture of fun activities and spiritual learning, sometimes at the same time. In the past, we have taken trips to Six Flags, gone to the park for games, host "lock ins" at Central, take mission trips, and so much more.
At Central, not only will your teens have fun, but they will also be part of a tight knit family. We understand and truly believe that Children and Teens are the future of the Church.
